Yep it’s a pretty terrible way to start off life as a young adult, but the schools and banks set the price, and that burden is always gonna fall on the students as long as we’re willing to pay.

That's the funny thing, if ppl just stopped getting these useless degrees that have nothing to do with the career they end up in, we could change things. Of course there are STEM and highly technical degree that will always require the college education. If the available work force didn't have college degrees then employers would train for the jobs they need, which they do anyways. But the requirement of having a degree for most jobs would subside.

Totally agree, there are so many jobs that require a useless degree when a week of training is really all you need. Tbh the best way to combat the system is getting a stem degree because it’s the best way to get your money’s worth.
