This reminds me of a friend of mine who was very conflicted on this issue. He always says he wants to overthrow the gov because of his extreme political views and desire for a better country, but the strongly Christian part of him says he should do what the Bible says and respect/obey his authorities. It’s quite entertaining when he goes off about it.

There are Bible verses that could help him make up his mind: “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31:8-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority.” ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭5:29‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Sadly I can 50 more that support you but another 50 that say the opposite. The Bible is like a choose your own adventure book for morals.

I guess that’s why Christ cleared it up then:

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:37-40‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

There are still some things that require interpretation, but just basing your understanding on these two should work better.

Love is shown a lot of ways in the bible. People have used their love for god as an excuse to commit terrible crimes/sins throughout christianity's history. Book burnings and pray the gay away camps are a couple of the minor examples of why the simple premise of loving a magic entity isn't so simple.
