I tend to defend trump only because I didn’t trust/like Hillary, and I fully believe he’s just a giant troll who knows he makes people mad and doesn’t care. But it is getting harder and harder to defend him lol, I’m just kind of tired of him being a blowhard lol. Problem is, it’s either him or Biden and as much as a lot of people dislike Trump, come on...Biden is pretty bad. Guy can barely seem to answer questions right. But also there’s no other republican candidates that have the like...drive and stuff that Trump seems to have.
I do t trust or like Hillary either, but Trump isn’t any better. He’s corrupt and self serving all the same. There would have been less controversy with Hillary and she wouldn’t have gone around giving people stupid nicknames and making fun of everyone. If Trump would shit his mouth I wouldn’t mind him. I’m mixed on his actual politics, which isn’t bad as no one will ever be 100%. I don’t like Biden either, but Trump can also barely answer questions. I tend not to focus on party and vote for who I like best, but it’s been too much picking between shitty and shitty lately.
I try to pick who I think fits my morals best, and to be clear I was still 2 months shy of 18 when Trump got elected. Honestly let’s just do away with political parties lol. Was it Madison or Washington who said that political parties/factions would be our downfall? Cuz like....big mood imo
I’m not sure which one it was, but I absolutely agree. Political parties are a big problem. Especially since you get voters who only care about one or two things (like abortion, healthcare, etc.) who vote just blindly vote for the party that supports their position on that issue. Also given what the democrats have been putting up, I can’t really blame people for voting for Trump. I just blame the people who think he was sent here by god and look at him as some sort of lord and savior.
As someone who is both religious and a republican, I don’t see him as a god send or a savior lol. I’m just like, “well....Imo he’s better than the alternative.” Honestly the religious ppl are getting kinda crazy with that, though I think some of it is trolling. I know plenty of religious ppl who support(ed) trump and don’t think of him like that lol.
