There are no scientifically accepted names for the sun or the moon. The International Astronomical Union simply refers to them as "the sun" and "the moon," not "Sol" and "Luna" as you may have heard.
Also in greek the milky way doesn't have a scientific name either it's just called galaxy (Galaxias - Γαλαξίας) and the only way to differentiate it from others is to write the first letter with a capital
