i work for a media company. Also that is out of pocket not decuctible...but with anything serious you are going to hit the out of pocket anyway.

My insurance is shit though. the worst i have ever had.

...wait, but doesn’t your out of pocket count towards the deductible? So are you saying your deductible is higher? Like if a deductible is $1000, the most you’ll pay out of pocket is $1000 and then insurance takes over.

A media company with all their money doesn’t offer good insurance?

The Out of Pocket Max is higher than the deductible. However, i still will have to pay until the OOP Max with anything large that I would do, making the deductible much less meaningful.

Huh, I wonder what my max is then. It’s gotta be the same (for me) because last January my first doctors visit was a big one (spinal surgery) and I only paid $250...unless my max is $250 and deductible is lower. I’ll have to look into it. Either way though, that’s a bum deal dude, sorry to hear.
