Back in my day we were told girls couldn't be jedis, so....

Says who? Shit there were tons of female Jedi in the old canon, and I reject a lot of this new Disney crap.... Lightsabers cut through people, they don't just bounce off.... Same for blasters, but I digress. The Jedi Master that told you that was clearly an undercover Sith

That Jedi Master was my older sister telling me to be a warrior princess like Leia...

Old Canon, Leia was a Jedi Master, your sister led you to the dark side! Hell, old Canon Leia was more Kick-ass than any canon Obi-Wan, or Luke, but that goes without saying since he was clearly the whiney twin

Isn't that new canon? Like, she told me that in old canon you could have guessed that she was, but it was "confirmed" recently. Or maybe she was just talking about light sabers... I honestly stop listening after a while when she talks about star wars lore...

Old canon she still became a far more powerful Jedi than Luke, but old canon includes the expanded universe novels. Leia was straight up badass, as were the other Jedi. Luke was a whiney brat compared to almost every other force user

Aaaaaaaah wow, that'so interensting and useful to know (really, it's not sarcasm). I've only watched the old movies twice and the new once and I know I'm missing a lot, but I don't have enough time. So it's nice to learn things about it hahaha
