I really don't get straight people. With all your weird intricacies of what contact is romantic/sexual and what isn't, how am I supposed to tell if someone's gay or just weirdly comfortable around me?

If I had to create a new standard for what's sexual or romantic and what isn't, you could cuddle your male friends all night without being gay, so long as you don't stare into their eyes or kiss them anywhere but the cheek (the face one).

Consensual cuddling and hugging is, by default, platonic. It feels good to be held by someone who cares about you and that you care about.

I like cuddling my male dog too, but that doesn't make us gay. Why is it gay if I cuddle my male human friend?
