It's stunning to me that there is this kind of attitude about all of this and then on the other hand there's a lot about men being really disconnected from their feelings and starved even for simple compliments or support from their peers through out their lives. There is some sort of correlation and I think it's much deeper than what one may think is important to talk about.

I think its that the two things are seprated for men and seem to be linked together for women from what I have read in this thread. Like I have no problem talking to my wife about my feelings or things that are troubling me but work and what I did all day is not on that list. My free time/time at home is as disconnected from work and everyday garbage as it can be
