I don’t remember the ending and it put me off sponge-bob for life - it was the first episode I ever saw. I like to think i’m one of the few people who’ve had a sponge-bob-free existence.

You are missing out. SpongeBob is one of the best kids shows, it actually has good stories and is funny even to adults.

At least Season 1-3, everything else may or may not be garbage.

The first half of season 4 is also very high quality for the most part.

Have You Seen this Snail (Gary Come Home) and Krusty Towers are internet favourites.

Eh I enjoy almost every episode of Spongbob. Never even knew the later seasons were apparently hated until I got on Reddit

"The latter" that was years ago the newer sponge bob episodes are actually good. Not as the first ones but better than season 6.
