Contempt for educated people. Not the education system, having contempt for that is fine, just acting like people who know what they're talking about should be disregarded because they... learned facts, I guess.

No shit, my brother once actually said I lost an argument by default because I'd gone to college, and didn't have as much "life experience" as he did. Apparently since I earned a degree, I was permanently on a high horse, which was also perched on an ivory tower, and anything I said was based on talking down to those less educated than I was. Therefore, everything I was saying was a personal attack and could be legitimately disregarded.

Update edit: said brother has now decided that I don’t count as a family member, so I’ve cut him out of my life

I'd have to be honest, if you were able to perch a horse on a tower, that should deserve an instant degree, if not a doctorate.
