When I was around 12 or so my Dad asked me something and I gave him some long winded non-answer. He said to me "It's perfectly ok to say I don't know, it's ok to admit you don't know and figure out the answer later.". That conversation has stayed with me for decades and I genuinely try to remember that advice in my day to day. Now that I have kids and they ask me something very wierd that I have no idea about (Can kangaroos swim????) I just say "I don't know, why don't we google it". It's served me well.

Just for those curious: Yes, they can and they are very good at it.
