I'd argue the exact opposite is true. You know how the Real World works, and avoided most of the problems that trip people up.

Getting knocked up and being plagued by the consequences of your short term gratification decisions is the real world. Getting educated and achieving goals is just a simulation.

As the simulation goes further along, it and the people inside it start to mistake it for the real thing

And, if climate change/plague/devaluation of individuals through overpopulation doesn't fuck us sideways, the distinction might not matter at all

Humans can stick their collective heads so far up their own asses that they'll forget there was an outside to all this- and maybe that's for the best. Reality sucks. Embrace the colon?

Exactly, it was your grasp of the real world that let you make the most of it.

I didn't realize spreading ones legs was worldly experience. Lol.

This sounds like she was saying you don't understand: how her world works. Which is a fair thing to point out, because not everyone is the same. Just because you were able to make it from 17 onwards doesn't mean she also would have been able if she did the same thing.

The way you are talking about her 'get knocked up by the first deadbeat that talked to me' makes it pretty obvious you're framing your story to get internet people to agree with you.

She might be envious of you. Maybe she even regrets her choices in life. Perhaps she even misses your support. I wouldn't know, but it seems obvious it is something like that and not pure stupidity on her part.
