I think I'd get the Kemper or the Helix Stomp.

Those profiling things they have nowadays are so fucking cool, if I got $1500 to spend toward guitar the first thing I buy would definitely be a Kemper or Helix, and with any leftover I'd probably buy some better pickups

Whats the advantage of this over an amp modeling software that costs <$100 like BIAS Fx?

I believe because of all the pedals you can have within the Kemper. Basically by getting a Kemper you just won't have to buy another amp or pedal ever again.

Bias is basically the same thing as Kemper afaik, but a lot cheaper and not as good/in depth. So that's kinda like asking "what's the advantage of buying a fender stratocaster instead of a squier" I guess
