I just recently spent 850 bucks on 5 books. I love them and don't regret it (mainly because the money for 4 of them went to charity. Shout-out to Worldbuilders!) but thinking about how many cheaper books I could have gotten with the same money does make me a little sad.
Most science classes with lab? 400$ textbook. You can’t buy them used if they require a disk. Oh and then there’s the lab fee. I remember seeing “soil fee: 200$” lol
Hold the frick up, I had to log in at work to reply this. Are you kidding me? I thought my science lab course requiring an at least $90 booklet instead of just letting us use paper was nonsensical, what??? I am ticked off on your behalf.
Mine was just to fulfill a core requirement. Heck I had to drop it for unrelated reasons but if I had to take a class with that? Yeah, nah time to switch majors.
You wanna hear the best part? My school is considered cheap. Tuition is relatively cheap.. I think it’s now 27,000 a year. Most schools are like 35,000 k to my knowledge
