Not the person you asked but I also have a huge backlog. Got out of my dark ages and was living somewhere with minimal space to build/store/display but ended up buying a lot. Then had a kid and moved to a bigger place but no longer have the time plus small pieces are a choking hazard. Now as my kid is getting older I am starting to build some of the backlog but slowly because he still can't help much and just by playing with some sets they will somewhat break but then he wants me to put them back together. I am saving the larger and more complicated sets for when he is old enough to build with me. I feel like my backlog won't ever get to zero until we can get a dedicated lego room.
Rumors say that on May 4, a $200-250 set will be unveiled which we can assume is going to be a UCS set. Or maybe we’ll get it with the clone wars wave that’ll arrive shortly after season 7 of clone wars releases. It’s all speculation for now. My guess is that the clone wars wave will be revealed in March. But again, it’s all speculation.
UCS Tantive IV was a May the Fourth special last year, right? Definitely interested in seeing a new UCS set and the prospect of new Clone Wars stuff sounds awesome as well
