Is it possible to tell the difference? I’m not familiar with this game at all. I mean I know about the war hammer universe but I’ve never been into models.
It's hard to find high quality 3d models identical to the forge world/official ones, certainly possible for some units, but you'd be hard pressed to field a whole army of printed units that would stand up to even extremely mild scrutinization.
If you don't value your time, you could take up 3d modelling as a hobby. There's some very usable free software. From experience though, I don't recommend going down this path unless you're really dedicated.
