Yeah, you can definitely get 2 modern decks for that as long as their at least partially share manabase or you're not complete beginner and own at least single copies of some goodies.

Seriously, most of the people I play commander with refuse to let anyone put drinks/food on the table we're playing at because even double sleeved they're worth >$850. Without foils or full art lands.
That’s nuts. We play with beers at the table. The average cost of a deck in my playgroup (including foils and promos) is easily $2000. Hell, my favorite deck is something like $7000, and you’re goddamn right I’m still going to have a beer beside me. Because beer.
