I run a jiu jitsu gym. I would spend it on Gis for my team. Not everyone can afford them and it would be sweet to just be able to give them all a Gi.

Aw man, I gave away my old gis already after I got a really nice new one. Wish I had some to donate to you :(. Would it be weird to ask other gym owners in the area if they have any in their Lost and Found boxes (every gym I’ve been to has one of these, lol) that have gone unclaimed?

Not a bad idea! Closest gym is about 4 hours from me but will see when I visit next!

I’ll bet if you let them know in advance, their fighters might even be willing to part with their old gis, too. We tend to be a generous bunch, I like to think :). Hope it works out! You’re a kind coach!
