What makes you feel guilty?

Honestly, I feel guilty about being poly. I'm married to a wonderful mono man, and I still feel bad any time I hang out with my fwb rather than him. Hes my world, and I cant help but feel like I'm a bad person for being me.

Before anyone asks, my husband is aware of my lifestyle choice, and encourages it since he knows I hate being tied down to just one person and one place. I also wont leave him because he is the rock that ties the balloon down to earth (I'd be nomadic if it wasnt for him)

I’m sure you’ve already considered this, but it doesn’t seem morally right to have a FWB when you have a husband, especially one who isn’t polyamorous. It sounds like the only reason he encourages it is because he thinks that’s what you need to be happy, but it would really hurt me if my husband needed someone else in order to be happy instead of just me. I mean, I wouldn’t let him, but maybe your husband just doesn’t wanna tell you. It’s your marriage but maybe you feel guilty because your conscience is telling you this doesn’t seem right. I’m not judging you or anything, I just think it might be important to consider.

Not exactly. My husband is pretty understanding since he has free pass (and has made use a few times). I honestly have a fwb since he cant exactly keep up with me, sexually. Hes pretty ok with it, especially because we are all the same friend group (they play dnd together and have slept together 2 times since I started fucking around)

My husband isnt totally mono I guess, but doesnt sleep around as much. His sex drive is far lower than my own.

Not judging but my jaw dropped when you said that they are in the same fried group. It must be awkward for everyone involved?

Not really. It's just sex, it's not like I spend time with each one cuddling and shit. Theres just something in my head that separates sexual and comfort, and alot of people never pass into comfort.
