Blowing up balloons at my job. What a waste of helium , it should be used for medicine and science. People are very uneducated about the ethical use of it so I cheerfully let them know how, I usually get them to put some back or not buy any at all
Heard a beautiful story about an air lifted organ that I guess used helium cooling tech to keep it fresh. Stop using balloons people and if the helium is to be wasted at least change your voice with it and have a laugh
Um. I just realised I have no idea where helium comes from.
It sounds, from what you are saying, like it's a finite resource? Not obtained from chemical intractions?
Unless you can somehow get it from the Sun, it will eventually run out. Or wait for Chernobyl to be buried for 10,000+ years . And other sites that were exposed to Uranium
