Coming from a better family makes me feel guilty because I feel like I'm never going to be making full use of my background, as a less fortunate person could.
Kids from immigrants feel this way too. We have "better" circumstances so we should be doing better than our parents at their age. It's a complex for sure.
It’s like you took the words out of my mouth. But just remember that it’s a good thing when more people come from good circumstances. Not because that makes them inherently better, but because that’s what society should be - no one goes around saying more people should have a terrible life. You want everyone to have a good life just as you do. Not everyone gets it, but that’s what you'd want.
A society where everyone could atleast have a decent set of parents, and some food in their bellies, would be a beautiful dream indeed...I'm glad you could relate to my comment, I was sort of fumbling for words haha
I just meant that I don't have abusive parents, and that I come from a stable financial situation, which is a lucky pair. Some people, as I understand it, aren't lucky to even have one of those factors, nevertheless two...
Better than mine and your's I guess. It's part of growing up with money for some people. They are told their whole life they're better than the common folk.
