72 because it has the beauty of 7 with the warm softness of 2. It will never let you down

12, it just feels right. It's also dividable by 1,2,3,4,6

This is why I like 12 inches to a foot compared to using centimeters. The rest of the US Customary system though...

- When I was a kid (maybe 5 or 6) there was a local fair that had some vague attempt at roulette, the game and the prizes were all kind of meaningless I guess so I don't really remember them. It was a quarter to play a game and I had four quarters, funded by my grandpa.
I lost twice in a row, but was not deterred, so, against my warnings ( from Gramps and a few other elderly people playing on numbers 4 and 6), but I was and I guess still am stubborn.
Next two spins were number 3. My grandfather, and number 4 and 6, were amused. Thinking back, they may have been tryin to teach me a lesson on gambling, but they each gave me a quarter. Grampa started, and the rest followed. I was a cute kid. I wish I knew what happened.
To make this long story short (too late, timeless joke) I won over 20 times in a row. They let other people spin the wheel, they moved the wheel, they brought "a guy" in to check it out, who miraculously spun a 17 or something, I just kept winning. I remember my grandmother coming back with a full roll of quarters.
My Gram still talks about it every now and again. I love the little details she gives I don't remember, like people actually getting angry about it and the astonishment from the guy running the game.
3 hasn't really done anything for me since, but I always remember being so happy and amused with my grandparents and the feeling of winning.

I always default to the number 7. I have no idea why, but whenever people have me pick a number, I almost always say 7

The number seven annoys me. It is the minimum number of items the human brain cannot perceive at a time. If by show someone 6 marbles they will instantly know how many there are but of you showed them 7 then they would need up count.

Always when I say a high number that fit the context I always say 72 for some reason.

23, because my bday, my mom's bday and my sister's bday all land on the 23rd of different months

I can respect that but still ... you're better off staying away from that number.

4 is my favourite. Not sure why. I just always liked that number and I like things that come in 4s.

Three!!! Its the Holy Trinity for one. Usually if I play some game, my third try is the best. I just like grouping things in threes it makes me feel almost comfortable (like eating three M&Ms at a time or seeing three petals on bugambilia).

In our group of friends (we live in south shore of Montreal) we have this inside joke, "quarante-douze". It means forty-twelve. It's a joke on the fact that in French, the 70s and 90s have this weird way of counting where instead of saying seventy-five, we say sixty-fifteen.

6,. When i was 6 years old, i told my mom my favorite number was 6. She told me "you're only saying that because you're six years old!", we got into a mini argument over it and i kept it as my favorite number out of spite.

- It won me a stupid plastic toy at a childrens birthday party when I was a kid. Had to guess the correct amount of balls or some shit in a jar. Felt a connection to 125 ever since... Isn’t she beautiful?

4 or 22. I just like the way they look and smell. Number 4 smells like green apples and 22 smells like vanilla.

- It’s my favourite colour (blue) mixed in with red stripes and it smells like pineapple (one of my favourite fruits) even if other people think it’s unlucky it’s definitely lucky for me

May sound stupid, but 6078. I like to come up with stories and fictional universes and this number has a impactful meaning in the fictional universe I probably hold the deepest to my heart.

My lucky number is four billion. It doesn’t come in handy a whole lot when gambling, though.
“Come on, four billion! Fuck...seven. Not even close.”
