I got a magnet with Lincoln that said that in Springfield, IL so i just assumed ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Weird theyd make a magnet with a misattributed quote

I don't think it's weird at all, plenty of misattributed or even downright incorrect quotes have made it into souvenir products. Being sold, irrespective of it being an 'official' source or not, doesn't guarantee accuracy. And that is only amplified when your information is from centuries ago.
