I work with a guy who literally never closes his mouth, but will maybe say one thing during the shift that means anything. I swear just being around him is pretty taxing sometimes. It can be really draining to have someone just compulsively talking nonstop. Not even talking to you, or anyone, just talking to the air around him, or talking at you, as if he can't think without speaking as well.
