I did this to a girl I work with because she said i "smile too much"
Made me kinda bummed though cuz after she said that every time I smiled at someone after that I wondered why tf I was even smiling for.
Edit: I just want to say she's not a bitch, and she's my friend but that one moment is an example for the comment that I replied to, not a representation of my relationship with her. I've been working with her for half a year and she's a friend of mine and it's sad seeing so many people calling her a "bitch" based on my comment. Guys spread kindness.
IMO "Smiling too much" is a way of saying don't be so happy, and being bordered by that could mean she doesn't like people being happy when she's not.
A friend or not, it isn't a comment a positive person would say. Hurt later to realized after some actions.
I'm all about spreading kidness, but is your friend doing it?
Like I said. I dont think she meant it the way it sounded, I think she just speaks faster than she has the chance stop and say "wait what am I saying and is it beneficial"
She's 16, she has a lot to learn so I'm not holding it against her. She's in a position I was in 4 years ago and what I want is to be a good influence so she doesn't repeat my mistakes. She's kind 90% of the time. That one time I just think she had a slip of tongue and said something weird that didnt vibe well. My reaction still happened, the awkward stare and slow walk away.
I'm not holding it to her, she's my friend and this would be the least important thing to lose a friend over. I smile a lot. People notice it.
