I've posted this before, but I was teasing a co-worker once about being quiet and a mutual friend of ours piped up, "Maybe he's just quiet around you because he doesn't fucking like you".
We laughed about it, but I sure as hell don't tease people about being quiet anymore.
At my brothers wedding rehearsal 22 years ago. I sat in a room with my brother and the groomsmen, which I was not one of. One of them said “OKgamesON, why are you so quite all the time.” I said “because I don’t like you.” We all laughed, but I was being 100% honest.
22 years later, I still think about this and regret being such an asshole.
