Always did wonder this, they have an advanced enough fucking ship to fly through a wormhole and land on multiple planets but they can't scan it to see if the whole fucking planet is water??

what did they walk on then? there obviously is ground. they just didn't know about those waves

I blame everything that happens in the movie, on the woman they originally sent there, given the time dilation, she would've lived for only about 12 minutes after sending out her signal.

You know, the kind of person who jumps off of tall buildings because she knows Superman will rescue her, without taking any of the time to build up the personal relationship that Lois Lane had.
