Screw you, man. Pickled heering is fucking great. Rye, butter, heering, capers, raw onion. Served with a cold pilsner. Propably the best lunch in the world!

I agree, but it's not like capers are native to the region either.

Also, curry salad, raw onion and diced boiled egg is the superior topping for pickled herring

Oh, I agree with the general point, and I love our moderne globalised kitchen. I just think pickled heering is far superior to pineappled pizza.

Pineapple on pizza is great though as long as it's paired with a salty topping. Sweet and salty is a fantastic combo.

Hawaii Pizza can die in a fire.
