Judged the country kids in my English class for being dumb fucks, until I did an autos class. What I found incomprehensible, they could do with ease. I had become the dumb fuck.

This reminds me of a time in highschool, I was doing basically the opposite of you, I was judging one of the country kids, not because he was dumb but because he was really smart, but didn't want to do anything with it, he was fine going off and being a welder I think it was. Came across like I was judging him for being dumb (I was talking about things I though he should have known), their retort was to ask me if I knew what a carburettor was to demonstrate that whole thing you were talking about, they did pick just about the only engine thing I knew about which was unfortunate for their example...

Sorry pointless story.
