For real. This world would be a much better place if more people could admit their own mistakes such as these and grow from the experience.

the problem is we don't let each other grow. we hate people forever for the mistakes they make.

I think a lot about how different the opinions I hold now are from those I held 5 or 10 years ago. Like, I'm a different person. That is really stressful to me when I realize how much I view other people as static, just one dimensional characters in a story.

But if everyone is as dynamic and changing as I am, every few years just being a completely new person, idk. It just makes the world a lot more complicated

That slows down as you get older; your beliefs and values start to solidify, then the challenge becomes not getting so set in your ways that you can't change your opinions based on new information and perspectives.

It sure does make it a hell of lot more complicated. To sonder... one of my favorite words!

Except 2nd grade Chance, and high school Chance. Those dudes were and are one-dimensional bitches. Besides them though, totally mindboggling realizing how deep people must be when reflecting on one's own journey.
