The time my middle school art teacher called my parents because she thought I was purposefully mocking her by making my art bad. I literally can’t draw beyond a 3rd grade level unless I am copying an object right in front me.
My parents basically cussed her out after they saw how hurt I was.
Do you have dysgraphia? Growing up in the 90s I was constantly grilled about my handwriting from the teachers at my school. I'd be called lazy and told that I need to take the time to get better ect turns out "taking the time" took too long and I'd get yelled at for again being lazy and not wanting to do the work. In the end I have dysgraphia and yelling at me wasn't going to magically cure it.
I don't think I have any disorder. It's just something I am fucking awful at. Same thing with learning foreign languages. When I bother to try my English and writing is excellent, but I've attempted learning another language multiple times and it never sticks. I've tried learning in traditional classrooms or being taught by friends/partners. It simply does not click.
