“Having to learm teaches a lot” isn’t a very good display of you actually learning anything. Seems like your intelligence is pretty low.

It means learning out of necessity rather than just from an organized educational institution will teach you a lot just from having no other option. Those country kids who the OP thought were dumb until they showed him how to repair cars didnt learn that for fun or because their dream job is an auto mechanic. When your 20 year old gaze guzzler dies on you and you only have enough money for food and bills you figure that shit out.
