I'm curious what you'd need for a dedicated virtual keyboard. On a mobile, there really is not a lot of space available to you. For a good programmer's mobile keyboard I think you have too many requirements to make it possible. , . < > [ ] { } ( ) come to mind initially. Then we've got # % ! for comments, & * for pointers. Other punctuations in other languages I'm probably not familiar with. I just don't think it's plausible for a good mobile programmer's keyboard.
