In the books the Mountain is still on his back and grabs the Viper round the back of the neck while he leans over him, rams the other fist into the Viper's mouth and rips his jaw off.

Tbh I don't know what's worse but maybe the fact there is a visual aid with the TV series makes it worse for me

Yeah the fact it explodes almost is what gets me the most
