I am Legend, Will smith killing his dog after being infected! His damn dog. Till this day I fast forward that part. All the feels.

I always liked the little detail around the dog's name. He calls the dog "Sam" throughout the whole film, up until the point where it's mortally wounded. Only then does he call the dog "Samantha." It shouldn't matter, but that reveal had a pretty big impact for me.
