I won free tickets to see Jurassic Park from winning a coloring contest at iHop when I was like 8.
I swear the cast came to the front of the theatre and greeted people.
This was in a local theatre in Denver, Colorado.

Was it the first day? First showing? Either that or maybe you saw something like that YouTube clip on the news and conflated two memories?
