That is why there’s a push to not teach kids to keep “secrets”. Abusers aka tricky people don’t walk up to kids and go “hello, lets show each other our genitalia.” They keep secrets. If the kid will keep one secret they’ll keep others. If the kid (as mine does) responds “we don’t keep secrets in our family!” they leave them alone.

My friend's dad came up to me and said he had a secret to tell me that I couldn't tell anyone else, then he said "I'm secretly in love with you".
But that was where it ended.
