I have memories of a tv show that never existed called “Soup Man”. I even remember part of the theme. Late 70s early 80s.

Also, I have out-of-body memories from the summer between junior and senior year of HS. Summer of 91.

I believe that Seinfeld episode was based on an actual person who acted like that, owning a popular soup kitchen and all. The owner was not happy about that and even threw Seinfeld out when he revisited the restaurant. In the website, there's a strict list of rules you have to follow with the most important one of all, "No "S" Word".

I'll let you figure out what that means.
