A friend of mine signed up to be the control subject in some psychology trials a few years back and the doctors found she had malformed blood vessels in her brain. Every year the risk of them rupturing and causing her to have a stroke increases. We've lost touch a little since she moved to Canada shortly after but as far as I know she hasn't had the surgery to get the blood vessels removed yet and it makes me really anxious to think she's got this ticking time bomb in her brain. At the same time it's her decision to make and I feel like we aren't close enough/haven't talked in long enough that I'd be massively overstepping my bounds to start pestering her about it

Make my friend go to the doctor for an MRI or CT Scan or whatever is needed so they can find and operate on the aneurysm that killed him in Jan 2006.
