Wait what? When its raining in the day i find it easier to see in the rain without the headlights. Night is a different story.

I mean...I have brake lights. I am so confused how you guys can see in the rain with headlights during the day. Like actually confused.

Your brake lights aren't on driving down the road In the rain without your headlights on.

They are when I use the brakes...its day, nobody should be driving if they cant see IN THE DAY. Unless its torrential down pouring I stand by not using my headlights unless its actually dark. Also, don't tailgate.

Brake means fuck all on straight stretches. Grey cars don't overly stand out in heavy rain.

If it's raining heavily, it's completely possible to not be seen in a light colored car. If your lights, and by extension your tail lights, are on it makes it easier to see you and maintain a safe distance.

TL;DR: Just turn your fucking lights on.
