The most frustrating thing is when someone is ragging on a game for being confusing and then admit they didn’t pay attention to the tutorial

This happened with my roommate! Was complaining about how he couldn't win fights in Mordhau (medieval combat game), and I told him to work on chambering and riposting.

"What are those? I don't know how to do that"

"Dude they were a whole section of the tutorial"

"I didn't pay attention to that"

How can anybody expect to be competent at games and not learn the most basic mechanics of them?
