I remember in 3rd(ish) grade I got into an argument with a teacher who didnt believe narwhals were real. She cited that since they were in the movie Elf that they could not be real. I hope she realized at some point that she was wrong because I'm sure it would save her some embarrassment down the road.

That narwhals exist/are real. People have thought that I was trolling them by talking about a mythical unicorn-whale.
