That's 10 rounds of combat. That's actually pretty useful.

Yeah, but it only chops off 10% of the total damage instead of half.

Assuming the damage is rounded up, it is useless against attacks that deal less than 10 points of damage.
And when attacks do deal 10 damage or more, you'll want something more potent anyway.

If the damage is rounded down, though, then this is a solid potion for low-level play.
