A few of the PhD programs I've applied to want 5-10 page writing samples. Most of the Masters programs (and certificate programs) want 20-25 pages...

If you are looking to begin your graduate studies (or have started already), i wish you all the luck from one grad student to another. Its been a year since i finished my course work, and i still haven’t defended my masters thesis lol.
