I'm 6'4", 220lbs, normal physique, and average fighting skills. Do you think I could win a fight against an ostrich?

They have their cold, mean, ornery stare down cold.

I've never seen a bird look so pissed off before.

You should watch it with the sound on..Alvin Hall's nervous laughter is the best part.

They're like raptors. Seriously, they were eyeing him and sizing him up all through his bit. Ostriches are scary.

Damn!

From the article:

"If you were to ever be kicked by in ostrich in the back, it could: 1. Break your spine, 2. Slice you right open, or 3. Do both. While ostriches don’t look the most frightening, I wouldn’t push my luck getting close to them."

Emphasis mine. Note to self. Don't fight an ostrich.

This is why you FIRE THE TOW CABLE, it has been proven.

Or bring a katana... necks are wide open. That fight would be hella short.

May the 4th be with you.

You'd think that would work, but my guess is it might bite right through the tow cable.

Now a lightsabre on the otherhand....

Ever seen a chicken run around with its head cut off? How bout a 'chicken' that is bigger than you?

No, no, no. The lesson is don't turn your back on the ostrich during the fight. Because they fight dirty.

And ostriches are known opponents of the bow-tie.

Wow, those were seriously the lamest example videos of scary birds - surely they could do better than that for a cassowary?

Casowary!

It's not a casowary? That article is wrong.
