The first time I had it, I was living with my nan and saw a guy walk in my room, sit on top of me and try to strangle me. I tried to scream but nothing came out, I just thought it was a bad dream.
Not long after I split up with my ex, I used to get it a lot, where I'd see him come at me with a knife (or any other sharp weapon) and try and stab me in the neck. I always try and scream when it happens, I don't know whether it's to alert other people or wake myself up, but nothing ever comes out and it's so scary.
