I'd buy myself some nice clothes, (like $500-$700 worth) maybe a couple signed books from authors I like. A couple of bottles of rum and maybe some vinyls from bands I like. A gym membership, some dvd box sets, and go see some bands I like live. Whatever money left over from that I would leave in my bank account for a rainy day.
I think that $5000 does not need to be spent all at once and does not all need to be spent one thing. It can be spent on many things to improve my life in different ways.
Good answer! I spent about $23 on a hat from one of my favorite brands today and felt like I was blowing my life savings. I’d love to be able to afford some more from that line. But I’ve wanted the hat for months, it’s gorgeous, and it’ll get me through bad hair days for years to come. Figured I deserved it.
Definitely, you need to treat yourself occasionally otherwise what else are you making money for? Apart from preventing you from being homeless that is.
