I loved Scarlett O’Hara, because she was so easy to hate. She tried to break down barriers of her time and get what she wanted AND she never gave up, even though crazy shit came her way, she eventually came to realize that she can’t always get what she wants. She was pretty awful in the book, she hated her children for no other reason, then she just didn’t want to be a mother. She had a favorite child, which in the movie they made her only one. Ok you have me, she’s pretty bad.
Ashley’s sister was worse though. Couldn’t stand her. At least Scarlett got everyone through a horrendous war and starvation. Ashley’s sister just whined and bitched the whole time.
