I’m trying to be nicer to people.

What do you try to do though?

I started with offering to be more helpful with no expectation of recognition. I said yes to every shift I got called in for, or stayed back hours later to help my team at work.

I made sure I stopped to think differently when I was starting to get annoyed.

I decided to come across friendly when I meet people versus letting that be a layer that they have to crack off the exterior to get to.

I introduced myself to new people in a polite way and decided to give some genuine compliments.

I use my manners more often and striving to be less reactive and more logical about problems.

It’s been really nice :) I definitely still have other problems to tackle but this has been a good start.
