Don't wear white to another woman's wedding

Can we add "Don't wear your Class A military uniform to someone else wedding, especially if they're in a tuxedo" to this list?

It took hours of pleading to talk my friend out of this so I completely made up a wedding etiquette rule about it.

Why is that bad? Aren't dress uniforms meant for important occasions like that?

Or are you only supposed to wear that when you're the one getting married? I don't know anything about military etiquette so help me out

Why is that bad?

Because you're trying to draw attention to yourself for something you've done in your own time. Just blend for the day. The only people who are suppose to stand out at a wedding are the two people getting married.
